What did you do to your Hellcat today?

My M6 was built in Dec 2019, I bought it in Sept 2020. There was surface corroision all over the alum parts under the car, my guess is it saw a lot of salt spray during shipping, and it puddled in the belly pan and sat for months.

Did it affect the performance of the car? I don't think so, it did 189.910 in the 1.5mi.

Did it affect the resale? I don't think so, the buyer didn't have it inspected.

As difficult as it is, we would probably be happier letting go and consuming our cars rather than saving them for the ahole underpaying our widow for it.

Man that looks bad REAL bad....I'd have that up in the air all winter long gettin rid of that crap...It does come off....that stuff would keep me up @ night

The thought of leaves in my brake cooling duct was driving me crazy, so i pulled the tire and got em out ! Went and picked up some fluid film, drove thru something black an got it all over one side of car. So i came home cleaned pine pollen an got the black stuff off. Supposed to be 57 tomorrow so nice day to fluid film on everything i cleaned yesterday. Sprayed some on the drill press, it sure DON"T smell like cherry's.

I didn't know about that spot, i will check next time. I will have to get some fluid film. I was using this to clean brake dust, turns out it cleans in the wheel wells very well. It even clean old caked on brake dust off the calipers that brake clean didn't even touch. Plus it smells like cherry's. $5 at walmart.

May have to try that on my dads wheels. He bought a T/A last year and there is some brake build up on them. I changed the brake pads to the Z26 and he sprayed them down with some wheel cleaner but didn't get it all off.

Those brembo pads may have a use on the track but for street driving they have a lot of negatives.

On the street....they SUCK...plain and simple...Z26 is the only way to go...cant believe anybody runs them...

Actually, this is the owner of the repair shop. He just transplanted the Demon’s engine into the Challenger. As for me, I’m hiding behind my phone, taking pictures.

Slowly...but surely we are getting alot of members posting their pictures...(puttin a face to the name)....even some of the Icons...(Bull...Hunter...Missle...even me).....still nothing from UnHoly Guy.....now it's yer turn...were all wonderin..do ya look more like Jackie Chan...Bruce Lee...or Odd Job....so get out from behind the camera..and lets see yer smillin mug.....

I removed all 4 wheels again one at a time, and cleaned "everything" back there with fluid film an scotch brite. Not only is everything clean, it is shiny after wiping down with FF. No more rust on hub centers either.
I found the compartments behind the strut on the chassis, yep they had sand/gravel in em!
No pictures today.....you'd need sunglasses!

Cleaning inside of rims among other things today, big improvement but still some leaves in there. Wish i had painted the center of spindles when i had the rotors off. Oh well i am sure they will be off again at some point. I could also finish cleaning my calipers if i had them off. Car now has 75K on it. Maybe next time..... View attachment 178887 75K miles.

Put the street shoes on the 170, finished the tow hook mount, now standing on it's own feet, ready to roll. Forecast is rain tonight, and if the it dries out and the driveway is not too muddy, I may take it for the first drive. Maybe hit mile 16.

Supposedly 433mz Mopar don’t know the part number. They were sleeping but tire shop woke them up and programmed them to the car still no joy after 30-50 miles.
