Correct I should have left my hellcat alone.
I hear your pain brother. It's hard to quit something we love to do.
I sold my HC because the track here in Houston shut down. I do miss her.
I didn't want to just cruise it around and some retard run into it and lose value and never recover that. The more it just sat in the garage was not good for her either.
IMHO I did have a great set up without going too crazy with it. 2.85 pulley, 1000cc injectors and 3.09 gear on 93 octane. 9.70's in cold weather and 10.0's in hot weather.
Never broke down on me. My one claim to fame was in the Finals in 10.0 class at Mopar Fest in Houston b4 track had shut down. I lost in the Finals to a faster car, but that guy won the Championship that year in 10.0 class of Mopar Fest. I still had a blast and what a great experience and fun for me. He almost let out too soon at the end as I was running him out the back door. Roxxanne ran 10.0's all day long in the heat. I never had to let up at the end. Ran straight out the back door 10.0's every time.
At the track on Friday nights just TNT for fun, I only remember getting beat a few times in all the Friday nights and years we went there.
With all that being said and all the awesome times I had with Roxxanne, her time came to an end for me.
I bought a 2025 Goldwing Tour DCT and been riding all over the country with a group and seeing the country. Having a blast doing this now.
So there's always something else that we can have fun with and enjoy.
Life isn't over yet so keep moving forward!
