Lotta guys have experimented with different oils....I stick with what they recommend...and to recommended oil change schedules...

How's th 0-40 compare to other viscosities? Heard thinner oil is better for race engines. Thicker oil better for abused equipment.

You are correct, the heat is something! We have been in the low 90's, with some humidity. I have both of my Mopar vehicle's oil changed every 6 months, at the dealer and use their coupons. Never had a problem with the oil.
